Senator Blutarsky Speaks Irish – ND Preview Bonus

Ah yes, the off-season: a time of wanton jack-assery spent mostly throwing things at the wall to see what sticks in the hope that, at some point, time will progress more quickly.

Thematically speaking, this episode is exactly that.

I’ve never been to Como, or Missouri for that matter, but I’m having a hard time coming to terms with the fact it’s referred to as the “Athens of Missouri.” You’re gonna need way more of the following if you want to convince me:

  • Michael Stipe
  • At least 2 double barreled cannons
  • A cool bell you can ring
  • A field guarded by a nonthreatening dog, well kept topiary, and the ghost of previous coaches.

It’s the Mizzou Preview.

I’m sorry Vandy. I shouldn’t be making fun of you. You’ve had a rough go of things and I shouldn’t kick a team while they’re down. I really don’t even have anything bad to say about you. Nothing good to say really either but, there’s just not a whole lot of substance there to give feedback on. Ya know? What’s there to dislike when there’s just so little…to like?
