4.09 – The Athens of Missouri is What They Call It – Mizzou Preview

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Uncategorized

I’ve never been to Como, or Missouri for that matter, but I’m having a hard time coming to terms with the fact it’s referred to as the “Athens of Missouri.” You’re gonna need way more of the following if you want to convince me:

  • Michael Stipe
  • At least 2 double barreled cannons
  • A cool bell you can ring
  • A field guarded by a nonthreatening dog, well kept topiary, and the ghost of previous coaches.

It’s the Mizzou Preview.

Thanks to Nate Edwards of Rock M Nation for coming on this week!

4.08 – Commodore? More like Commo…don't – Vandy Preview

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Uncategorized

I’m sorry Vandy. I shouldn’t be making fun of you. You’ve had a rough go of things and I shouldn’t kick a team while they’re down. I really don’t even have anything bad to say about you. Nothing good to say really either but, there’s just not a whole lot of substance there to give feedback on. Ya know? What’s there to dislike when there’s just so little…to like?

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. It’s the Vanderbilt Preview.

Thanks to Thomas Stephenson from Anchor of Gold for hanging out and chatting all things Commodores.

4.05 – The Battle for Kroger – Kentucky Preview

There’s a joke here somewhere about grocery stores, essential workers, and 2020 but it’s probably not in good taste. I’m more a Trader Joe’s guy anyway.

It’s the Kentucky preview.
